Managing Director – New Zealand Andrea Rickard has been appointed as President of the Association for Consulting and Engineering New Zealand (ACE NZ).
Andrea was previously the Vice President of ACE NZ and was appointed President at the AGM last week.
“I see this role as an opportunity to elevate the voice of consultants,” Andrea says. “It gives me the chance to highlight what we do as an industry, for the beneft of all of our members. ACE is the voice for consulting and engineering in Aotearoa and its role is to elevate the story of how consultants deliver outcomes alongside our communities.
“In my role as Managing Director – New Zealand at Beca, I’m focused on showcasing what we do here in Aotearoa to bring our clients’ and communities’ stories to life, so the two roles are well aligned,” Andrea says.
ACE Chief Executive Helen Davidson says she and her team are really excited to work with Andrea in her new role as ACE President.
“Andrea brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in the sector and in governance. She’s already made a big impact with ACE over the last four years and we’re looking forward to her continuing leadership as we support our members to be the best they can be and champion the amazing work they do to improve the lives of New Zealanders.”
