Security and privacy of your information

Privacy and data protection regimes are strengthening globally, in response to increased risks in a dynamic digital world. This means increased legal compliance requirements and possible penalties for those that don’t comply.

Some examples of changes include the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020 (effective from Tuesday, 1 December 2020) that includes the introduction of mandatory data breach reporting. Mandatory data breach reporting requirements are also coming soon in Singapore and Thailand.

Beca takes the security and privacy of your information very seriously and we work hard to keep up with new requirements in this space. We have strengthened our delivery and corporate processes to meet these requirements. Our robust privacy impact assessment process for example, helps guide us through the important things that need to be considered when managing your personal information during a project.
