Beca is pleased to announce the appointment of Emily Botje, who joined as Technical Director - Asset Management, earlier this month.
Emily has 30 years’ experience in local and central government and consultancy, specialising in asset management delivery in the water sector.
In her role, Emily will be providing asset management advice and solutions to our clients, including supporting councils with their new legislative requirements and development of Water Service Delivery Plans. With experience in water operations, compliance and infrastructure planning and delivery, Emily has a balanced and holistic view towards asset management planning, delivering sustainable and cost-effective community solutions.
We asked Emily what she’s enjoyed most about her first few weeks and what she’s really looking forward to, and she had this to say, “I’ve really enjoyed getting to know Beca and the great work we’re doing across a range of sectors in New Zealand, Australia, and beyond. It’s been awesome getting to know the Beca team in Hamilton and the teams across New Zealand, and connecting with friends, old and new, across the sector. I’m really looking forward to supporting councils in the changing legislative environment and building a national capability in asset management for the benefit of our clients.”
Emily's operational and investment experience enables her to provide support in a wide range of planning activities, including strategic and growth planning, capital and operational forecasting, renewals planning, level of service improvements, maintenance and operations optimisation, compliance, water loss, I and I management, KPI reporting, data management and bylaw development and implementation.
