We'd also like to highlight the achievement of our partners Dominion Construction, led by James Reed who won the BBD Projects Over $100 Million Award and the GIB Supreme Award for their work on the University of Auckland's Waipārūrū Hall. Beca provided Building Services design for the project from our team led by Greg Williams and Akshat Malhotra.
Despite the COVID-19 pandemic, this year’s awards saw a record number of submissions to the New Zealand Institute of Buildings, making our team's win even more special.
Established in 1994, the New Zealand Institute of Buildings (NZiOB) Awards programme has been celebrating the achievements of project managers running commercial construction projects across New Zealand. This year's gala was held across three venues in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch and was live-streamed for those who couldn't make it in person.
A big round of applause for our Buildings team on their thoroughly well-deserved wins!
