Beca is proud to announce our recent appointment by the Department of Defence’s Security and Estate Group to their Project Management and Contract Administration (PMCA) panel.
A large five year undertaking, our appointment by the Security and Estate Group (SEG) to their PMCA panel will allow us to deliver specialist PMCA services across a wide range Defence estate projects – including Army, Air Force and Navy bases spread across the breadth of the Australian continent.
These projects, which are vital to maintaining Australia’s Defence capability at a time of growing geopolitical challenges, require robust business case development and regular consultation across multiple stakeholders to secure funding and engagement.
With proven experience providing PMCA services across the nation, including the current Holsworthy Barracks Mid Term Refresh and P0008/9/10 National Airfield Works Program, Beca’s Defence and National Security team was chosen by the Department of Defence when making these crucial appointments.
"This is a reflection on our successful management of complex projects over the last few years. We are eager to start delivery on these challenging projects as soon as possible" - Pete Muir, Beca
In commenting on this achievement, Pete Muir – Project Management Principal at Beca said “We are proud to have been selected as one of eight trusted organisations to assist the Department of Defence to deliver significant capital investment over the next five years.
I believe this is a reflection on our successful management of complex projects over the last few years. We are eager to start delivery on these challenging projects as soon as possible, and we also look forward to welcoming several new faces to our ever-growing team across Australia”.
Our work on the PMCA panel will be complemented by our integrated team of 545 engineering and consulting professionals across Australia, with access to over 3,800 professionals across the wider Beca Group in the Asia Pacific region.
